Miridio Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Brian O’Kelly, doing business as Miridio (“Miridio,” “we,” “us“), collects, uses, and shares information when you visit miridio.com (the “Site“) or contact us through it.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use a contact, request, or waitlist form, we collect what you enter — typically your name, business name, email address, the service you’re interested in, your timing, and your message. Please don’t send passwords, health information, payment card numbers, or other sensitive information through the Site.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site and our hosting and security providers automatically record technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring page, and the date and time. Our security tools use this information to detect and block attacks and abuse.

Cookies. The Site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are needed for it to work and stay secure (for example, security and performance functions). Our hosting provider may also load a traffic-monitoring script. We use Jetpack Stats to count page views (see Section 4). We do not use Google Analytics on the Site at this time. You can set your browser to block or delete cookies; some parts of the Site may not work properly if you do.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • respond to your inquiry and, if you ask, discuss or schedule a project;
  • send you updates about Miridio’s services if you joined our waitlist or asked to hear from us (you can opt out any time — see Section 6);
  • operate, secure, and improve the Site, including preventing spam and attacks;
  • keep business records and comply with legal obligations; and
  • protect our rights and the safety and security of others.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don’t use information submitted through the Site to train AI models.

3. How we share information

We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers that help us run the Site and our business, such as our website host, email provider, security tools, and analytics provider. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and safety reasons, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law or legal process, or needed to protect our rights, our users, or others.
  • Business transfers, if Miridio is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

4. Tools we use on the Site

We use the following tools on the Site:

  • Website hosting: GoDaddy hosts the Site. Our host may load its own performance or traffic-monitoring script on Site pages.
  • Content delivery: Jetpack’s Site Accelerator, a service from Automattic, delivers the Site’s images and some standard WordPress files from Automattic’s servers around the world. When your browser loads those files, Automattic’s servers receive your IP address and browser information, as any web server does.
  • Forms: Contact Form 7 sends form submissions to our email. Submissions are not stored in the website’s database by a form-storage plugin at this time.
  • Security: Wordfence helps protect the Site from attacks. It processes visitor IP addresses and related technical data, which may be checked against the Wordfence service’s threat data. Jetpack’s brute-force protection and firewall, also from Automattic, check requests to the Site, including IP addresses, against known attack patterns. When someone tries to log in to the Site’s admin area, the IP address and the username or email they tried may be sent to Automattic to check for attacks. If a visitor completes a math puzzle on the login page, a cookie is set for one day to remember that.
  • Performance and SEO: WP Super Cache, Rank Math SEO, and Smush help the Site load quickly and appear in search results. These are not used as advertising trackers.
  • Redirects and error logs: The Redirection plugin sends visitors from old or changed page addresses to the right page. It keeps a log on our server of redirected visits and “page not found” errors. The log can include your IP address, the page you asked for, the page you came from, your browser type, and the date and time. We use these logs only to fix broken links and keep the Site working.
  • Analytics: Jetpack Stats, a service from Automattic, counts page views on the Site. When you load a page, Jetpack Stats receives your IP address, browser type, the page you visited, the page you came from, your browser language, your country, and the date and time. We see only totals, not which person viewed a page. Automattic keeps stats logs that include IP addresses for 28 days. Learn more in Automattic’s privacy policy at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Site Kit by Google is installed but does not add a Google Analytics tag.
  • Spam protection: None beyond Contact Form 7 and Wordfence at this time. No Cloudflare Turnstile or reCAPTCHA is live on the Site.

5. How long we keep information

We keep inquiry and waitlist information for as long as needed to respond and to keep in touch about our services, and generally no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client (client records are kept as our client agreements and the law require) or you ask us to delete it sooner. Security logs are kept for shorter periods set by our security tools.

6. Your choices

  • Marketing emails: Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-outs promptly (within 10 business days as the law requires, and in practice sooner). You can also opt out by emailing privacy@miridio.com. We may still send you non-marketing messages, such as replies to your questions.
  • Access, correction, and deletion: You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing privacy@miridio.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law; we’ll honor requests as those laws require.
  • Cookies: You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we collect, including security software, access controls, and multi-factor authentication on our accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.

8. Children

The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us at privacy@miridio.com and we will delete it.

9. Health information

We do not seek to collect health information through the Site, and we ask that you not submit it.

10. Where information is processed

Miridio is based in Washington State, USA, and the Site is intended for visitors in the United States. Information you submit is processed in the United States. Some of our service providers, such as the network that delivers images on the Site, may handle technical information like IP addresses on servers in other countries.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the new version on this page and change the effective date. If we make material changes, we’ll give additional notice where appropriate.
